Deenie Pacik, a Boston artist, has spent nearly a decade drawing, painting, and working with fused glass and stained glass. She received her Master in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 2008. She has studied at Pilchuck Glass School and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. At the Museum School, she received the MFA Enterprise Design award, as well as an Institutional Grant and the Katherine Lane Weems Endowed Grant. She has also received the Dorothy Maddy scholarship from the Stained Glass Association of America.

Deenie has exhibited in many juried shows and currently exhibits in two galleries. She uses glass as a canvas for her paintings, and continually incorporates improvisation and experimentation into her work. She is most proud of being selected as one of several Big Sisters of the Year in Boston in 2003, and continues to have fun with her Little Sister.

Deenie was featured in the "artist spotlight" of the Dorchester Community News in 2004. Please see the article "Deenie Pacik - Stained Glass Designer" (image), by Ed Geary, Jr.
